Dr Lt Col Billal Hossain, is currently working in Combined Military Hospital, Dhaka as a Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon. He has completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College and Post graduation (FCPS, MCPS) from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons.

He has obtained his fellowship in Vitreo-Retina from India. He was awarded multiple times for best paper presentation. He worked in National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital, BIRDEM and Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital. He has several publications about his research work in multiple journals. He attended in different national and international conferences and presented his research papers. He is well known for his experience to manage complicated cases with latest technology and updated knowledge.
